The staff at the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) and I are excited to bring you another issue of The Arizona Pulse. As we look forward to 2020 and beyond, there are new challenges to face, and old successes to build upon. You can rest assured that ArMA is focused and ready to take on the new decade.
This issue’s features provide insight into the 2020 Arizona Legislative Session, an amazing STEM program for Arizona’s youth, and Surprise Billing from an Emergency Physician Perspective. We have also included new articles on vaccine policy expectations for the year and a recap of a recent burnout panel discussion provided by Creighton Medical School. The Winter issue closes with a look at the Arizona Burn Center located at Valleywise Health and a look at medication-assisted treatment.
